Sifford Wellness & Nutrition Services
At Sifford Wellness & Nutrition, I focus on getting to the root cause of health issues through functional medicine and functional clinical nutrition. As a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition candidate, I work with individuals who are dealing with chronic conditions, hormonal imbalances, aging challenges, and stubborn symptoms that traditional medicine often overlooks. To make care more accessible, most of my services are offered through secure and convenient telehealth appointments unless otherwise noted.
Frequently Asked Questions
At this time, I do not accept insurance. I choose to work outside of insurance so that we can focus fully on your individual needs without restrictions or limitations placed by third-party payers.
Yes, Sifford Wellness & Nutrition accepts HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) payments, provided that nutrition services are eligible under your plan.
I do not. My pricing reflects the depth of time, care, and expertise I invest in each client. If cost is a concern, I encourage you to consider whether this is the right season to invest in your health.
My approach is health-centered, not weight-centered. I believe weight loss should be the natural outcome of improving health, not the sole focus. When you nourish your body well, move in a way that feels good, and cultivate a balanced relationship with food, your body will often settle into its natural set point.
Research shows that 95% of diets fail and most people regain the weight they lose—often with added stress and frustration. Instead, I help clients build sustainable changes that support energy, digestion, hormonal balance, and overall vitality. Weight may shift as part of this process, but my true goal is helping you live a full, vibrant life.
Yes. I offer a range of functional and clinical testing when appropriate. These may include:
Comprehensive stool testing
Hormone testing (such as DUTCH)
Organic acid testing
Micronutrient panels
Mold and toxin testing
Functional blood chemistry review
Testing is recommended only when it will provide meaningful insight into your unique situation.
Healing is highly individual. I have worked with clients who see meaningful progress within three months, while others require a year or more of ongoing care. Consider how long you’ve been experiencing your symptoms—restoring balance takes time. My goal is to guide you toward sustainable, lasting improvements rather than quick fixes. If you are seeking a short-term solution, my services may not be the right fit.
I can work with clients in most states. However, due to regulations, I am unable to provide services in: Alabama, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, and Tennessee.
I encourage collaboration. Nutrition care is not a replacement for medical care, but a complement to it. I frequently work alongside physicians, therapists, and other providers to ensure you have comprehensive support.
Because I reserve time exclusively for you, I require at least 24–48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Missed or late-cancelled sessions may be billed in full.
